Xcitement at release of free test management tool

12 February 2010 11:35
By PT Staff

Eric Gavaldo, Director of Engineering at Babelgum, has released an updated version of his free Java-based test management tool XStudio. Information on its development and download site xqual.com indicates it has all the usual features plus more, with a standards-oriented open-source attitude.

We at PT (and no doubt many testers reading this) are about to investigate, but in the meantime if you are familiar with XStudio please share your experiences: is it really a viable alternative to proprietary products for serious work and large test projects? Let’s find out. Watch this space for more details soon.
